Ultracomputer - er gewann damals mein Tablett - fragt bei Wacom an und bekam die CD IMO umstonst (mit den Irix Treibern).

da hat er Glück gehabt - auf meine Anfrage von Wacom hieß es, dass man dafür das Wacom UNIX-Kit bräuchte, das man beim Fachhändler bekäme. Leider war kein einziger der Fachhändler von der Wacom-Seite in der Lage, mir zu helfen, deswegen dann der Hinweis, sich die CD direkt vom technischen Support kommen zu lassen. Die Kosten weiß ich nicht mehr, aber war nicht umsonst.

Since the IRIX driver is not needed by most of Intuos users, it's not part of the Intuos standard package, but an option. Therefore it has to be purchased separately. It's part of Wacom's Intuos UNIX Kit.
This kit can be purchased from Wacom dealers, or by calling 0049 (0)180 5000 375. The one-time purchase entitles the customer to free online driver upgrades and Technical Support.

Weiß aber nicht, ob das auch mit den Intuos funktioniert, mit meinem ArtPad hat's funktioniert.

dear ms herbert,
then why do you let sgi users pay twice for the package and the piece of software to let it be run on an sgi, whereas other users get the drivers for free coming along with the hardware? this is a blank discrimination. is it so hard to add a few megs more to the driver cd?
