Hi!

Hab die folgende Mail in den letzten Tagen mehrmals erhalten, und vielleicht einige von euch auch, jedenfalls waren in einer der Mails im Header recht viele bekannte Mailadressen von Leuten, die sich mit SGI's beschäftigen.

ACHTUNG: Obwohl das eigentlich sowieso klar ist, aber trotzdem: Die in dieser Mail angehängte .EXE-Datei auf KEINEM Fall auf einem Windows-Rechner ausführen - sie enthält einen VIRUS!!

Die Mail dazu will ich euch nicht vorenthalten:

Hi Mats!

Tatsächlich, jetzt bin ich auch schon im Olymp - ist mir noch gar nicht aufgefallen. Mein Gott - ( -> also ich selber  ;D ) was muss ich übrige Zeit haben, dass ich hier schon 500 mal meinen Senf abgeben konnte... Auf die nächsten 500... :)

Also Microsoft selber hat es nicht nötig, seine Viren, Würmer und Trojaner teuer und aufwändig per Mail zu verteilen - die machen das mit ihren CD's und der Windows-Update-Funktion viel bequemer, und die Leute zahlen sogar noch dafür...

Nein, da muss ich widersprechen. Microsoft produziert keine Viren, das können sie gar nicht. :)

Viren sind nämlich klein, effektiv programmiert und "Sie tun etwas"...

Zum Thema Windows:
Seit Montag haben wir hier einen Mac mit OS X, den ich einrichten darf - mein nächster Arbeitsrechner wird ein Mac! OS X sieht gut aus, fühlt sich gut an, und dank UNIX ist da auch kein Windows-Voodoo dabei. Ich bin wirklich begeistert ohne Ende! Das einzige was mir fehlt, sind Mehrtastenmäuse am besten mit Scrollrad. Auch wenn eine Maus mit nur einer Taste einfacher zu bedienen ist, da man weniger falsch machen kann, finde ich eine zweite Taste plus ein Scrollrad mittlerweile sowas von angenehm...

Dennoch: Mein dickes Lob an Apple/Next!

Logitech macht sehr nette optische USB-Mäuse, die wunderbar am Mac funktionieren - das war das erste, was ich an meinem G3 ausgetauscht habe... schön schick mit blauer Beleuchtung, die Maus   :D
